Our Philosophy: Phoenix Yoga Studio is the antidote to the gym! We believe that everybody can gain benefits from yoga, regardless of age, shape, fitness level or size, and all in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Our classes are run in a safe, supportive environment, with experienced teachers who are passionate about yoga. We offer classes and workshops for everyone, so if you just want to relax and chill out or work up a sweat, there's a class for you!
From Here to Maternity: We also offer a full range of classes and services for mums and parents to be. Pregnancy yoga, private antenatal classes/yoga for birth workshops, Mother & Baby yoga and antenatal massage and reflexology are all provided by caring and experienced professionals.

Nine Months courses have been designed to enable couples to feel they can approach birth with knowledge and confidence. Combining knowledge of the labour and birthing process with the benefits of yoga, this workshop covers many topics, including:
Understanding the process of labour
Breathing and relaxation techniques
Use of movement and gravity assisted positions
Transition to parenthood
Led by registered midwife Elizabeth McGovern and Birthlight yoga teacher Laura Feeney

Mindfulness Meditation Class at 7.30 - 8.30 p.m

These classes are suitable for all kinds of beginners. Mindfulness meditation is a specific form of meditation that involves paying attention to our moment to moment experience with kindly interest. In these classes, we practice seated meditations with guidance inviting us to focus our attention on the breath and other aspects of our experiences.

Afternoon of Chill Out Yoga
1-3pm Saturday July 18th
This 2 hour workshop will add a great big dose of relaxation to your weekend! This type of practice offers an opportunity to deeply unwind and restore body, mind and soul. Deep slow stretching and breathing practices to bring ease from the busyness of the week, creating space and lightness on all levels. This is a slow and gentle practice, combining yin and restorative yoga and ending with yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep! Just show up and relaxation is guaranteed! Your body will thank you.
