Welcome to Phoenix Yoga Studio!
Our Philosophy: We believe that everybody can benefit from yoga, regardless of age, shape, fitness level or size, and all in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Our classes are run in a safe, supportive environment, with experienced teachers who are passionate about yoga.  We offer classes and workshops for everyone, so if you just want to relax and chill out or work up a sweat, there's a class for you!

From Here to Maternity: We also offer a full range of classes and services for mums and parents to be. Pregnancy yoga, private antenatal classes/yoga for birth workshops, and Mother & Baby yoga are all provided by caring and experienced professionals.

Nine Months courses dedicated to enabling couples to feel they can approach birth with knowledge and confidence.  Combining knowledge of the labour and birthing process with the benefits of yoga, this workshop covers many topics, including:

Understanding the process of labour
Breathing and relaxation techniques
Use of movement and gravity assisted positions
Parentcraft and the transition to parenthood

Healthy Living with Essential Oils
Saturday 27th May 11am-12pm
This is a 60 mins class to discuss the benefits of using essential oils for physical, emotional and mental well being. Essential oils can enhance so many areas of your daily life. They're often used for immune support, relaxation and sleep, stress relief, emotional balance, skin care, respiratory health, green cleaning, and even muscle tension and pain. We will be sampling the various oils as well as some blends and raw food snacks with essential oils.

In the class, you'll learn about essential oil safety, how essential oils are produced, and common methods of use. You'll also learn to create a more natural, healthy lifestyle using therapeutic grade essential oils. 

Each attendee will receive a sample of Wild orange - great anti-anxiety oil to use on the go.

Yin Yoga class plus essential oils talk and samples
Saturday 27th May 2-4pm
Enjoy a deeply relaxing and restorative yin yoga class - allow your body to slowly open, release and reset before the festive madness and mayhem begins. Yin yoga is know as quiet power- you access the connective tissue in the body via a series of passive postures and hold the position for at least 5 minutes. Yin yoga is unique in that you are asked to relax in the posture, soften the muscle and move closer to the bone. Coupling this practice with therapeutic grade essentials can take it to a whole new level. We will experience the support of bolsters, blocks and blankets as the oils calm our system and help us to go even deeper into the poses. 

No experience necessary. All poses are done on the floor. We will also have a mini workshop on the physical benefits of therapeutic grade essentials oils, the emotional/energetic components of the essential oils and the power of aroma on emotions and mood. 

Lot of essential oils to be sampled and appreciated and you will go home with a sample of Wild orange - great for anxiety and a scarcity mindset.

Summer Chill Out Yoga 
Sunday 4th June 1-3pm
A chance to carve out some quality time for YOU, with no distractions. A practice to bring awareness to body and breath, to unplug from the distractions and stimulation of everyday life.

This workshop combines the most relaxing three practices within Yoga: Yin Yoga , Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. One practice flows into the other and the design and intention of the practice is for you to experience a deep sense of peace and wellness in body, mind and spirit. Each practice is a little different, but each in their own way help us to experience letting go, shedding of tension and trauma and a fostering of a meditative state during. When we combine these 3 practices together, well, let’s just say relaxation is pretty much guaranteed, and a feeling of peace that will stay with you after you leave the mat!

Physiologically this type of practice takes us out of sympathetic nervous system dominance (stress) into parasympathetic dominance (rest and digest), unless we do something to make this switch on a regular basis, we easily become overwhelmed and exhausted. You will be carefully guided through deep slow stretching and breathing and gently encouraged to release stress on all level. In a nutshell, a practice to recharge your batteries! We will practice by candlelight.

Cost: €25
A 2 hour Yoga practice can be a great introduction if you are a beginner OR a chance to deepen the practice if you already attend classes.
