Summertime Yoga - An Ayurveda-Inspired Seasonal Workshop
Sunday 30th July, 2-4pm
With every season, our bodies cycle through an organic ebb and flow of change that serves to harmonize and create balance within us. These changes are influenced by the seasons themselves: hours of daylight, foods that are abundant at particular times of the year, weather patterns, and seasonally inspired activities. Although your body will adjust to these changes naturally, it can be beneficial to integrate some simple tweaks into your routine to link yourself more intimately with each season.
Inspired by Ayurveda, the sister-science of yoga, this workshop will seek to balance the heat and energy of the summer season and to cultivate the opposite environment on the inside of the body - cool and calm. We will practice cooling and soothing yoga postures, pranayama (breathing techniques), restorative yoga, and deep relaxation, to help nourish your whole system and boost your energy levels.
Suitable for all levels, beginners most welcome!

August Yoga Nidra
Friday 11th August 6.30-7.30pm
Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) is a method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. It is a deeply relaxing, guided meditation, where you are taken on a journey throughout your body. In essence, your body is 'asleep' and resting deeply, while your mind remains awake. It is said that 30 minutes in yoga nidra is the equivalent to 4 hours' deep, uninterrupted sleep. It enhances creativity and productivity and improves sleep, healing and general health.
Cost : €10 - no yoga experience required
